Gallery information

Gallery content:
One week in the Belalp mountain area (Hotel Belalp & surroundings) in Switzerland on February 23 - March 1, 2013. Unfortunately, the Manfrotto tripod broke into pieces on the very first evening due to the cold temperatures. Thus, only a limited number of long exposures could be obtained.
Equipment:
Nikon D800. AF-S 24-70 mm f/2.8G (images 1-3, 5, 7, 9-11, 19-22, 25-29, 31-36), AF-S 70-200 mm f/2.8G VRII (images 4, 6, 12-18, 23, 24, 30), MF 24 mm f/3.5 PC-E (image 8). Note: The Nikon AF-S 24-70 mm f/2.8G is not recommended for landscape work with a Nikon D800 when used between 24 mm and 30 mm (very soft). From 35 mm to 70 mm however, the lens is sharp.
