The barred spiral galaxy NGC 2903 in the constellation of Leo on
February 25 / 26, 2014. The galaxy is about 30 million light years from Earth and was discovered by William Herschel in 1784
(source: Wikipedia).
Twenty-one 3 minute exposures at ISO 800 were added for this shot with the DeepSkyStacker software (resulting in a 1 hour
8 minutes and 33 second exposure) and the final image processing was done in Photoshop.
