The small galaxy group Hickson 44 (HCG 44) in the constellation Leo on April 6 / 7, 2018. Hickson 44 is approximately 80 million light-years from Earth. In the center of the image are the edge-on spiral galaxy NGC 3190 (top) and the S-shaped spiral galaxy NGC 3187 (bottom). To the right is the elliptical galaxy NGC 3193 and to the left is the spiral galaxy NGC 3185 (source: Wikipedia). For an annotated version of this photograph see the image below.

Forty-two exposures of 3 minutes at ISO 800 were stacked with no dark frame subtraction with Deep Sky Stacker (resulting in a 2 h 6 min exposure) and further processed in Photoshop.
Equipment: Canon EOS 450D Baader modified camera, TeleVue Paracorr Type II coma corrector, 16" f/4.5 "Ninja" dobsonian telescope riding on a dual-axis Tom Osypowski equatorial platform, Lacerta MGEN autoguider, Lacerta off axis system (field of view comparison: image of the moon with the same equipment).
