Statue of Grgur Ninski (Gregory of Nin) in Split, Croatia. Grgur Ninski was a Croatian Catholic prelate. He introduced the Croatian language in the religious services in 926. Until that time, services were held only in Latin. In the background, the Zvonik sveti Arnira (Bell Tower of St. Arnir) can be seen.
