Fig.16 - The church St. Remigius (also called "Baselgia veglia", in English "old church") at the foot of the hill La Mutta. The church tower was built in the 13th century. The age of the nave is difficult determine, parts were probably built in 1475. The wall around the cemetery was built in the 13th century. The first settlements on the hill (called La Mutta) might have been as early as 1800 B.C. Around the church are stone pillars (megaliths or menhirs), arranged goemetrically, that are said to date around 1500 B.C. Nikon Z6, Nikon Z 24-70mm f/4S lens (October, 2021).
