The planetary nebula NGC 6781 in the constellation Aquila (Eagle) on
July 10 / 11, 2013. The nebula's distance to Earth is approximately 3,000 light years. NGC 6781 was discovered by William Herschel in 1788 (source: Wikipedia).
Seventeen 3 minute exposures at ISO 800 were added for this shot with the DeepSkyStacker software (resulting in a 54 minute exposure) and the
final image processing was done in Photoshop.
